Ballgame Turns Ugly As Brewers Fan Targets Veteran With Racist ICE Threat

Uncategorized

A playoff crowd in Milwaukee turned quiet when a Dodgers rally began. That’s when a Brewers fan, identified by local outlets as Shannon Kobylarczyk, fired a taunt at Ricardo Fosado: “Let’s call ICE.”

Fosado, a U.S. citizen and Navy veteran who served in two wars, recorded the exchange at American Family Field during Game 2 of the NLCS. He answered, “Call ICE… I’m a U.S. citizen, war veteran, baby girl.”

The video went viral and quickly sparked fallout.

A Heated Moment Turns Personal
Fosado said the back-and-forth started as routine trash talk but “she just let out her true colors,” pushing it beyond baseball and into something personal, he told FOX 11.

The clip also captured another jab — “real men drink beer” — followed by an expletive, according to FOX6 Milwaukee. At one point, the fan appeared to swipe at Fosado’s phone.

Veteran Removed; Refund Requested
Fosado and a friend were ejected in the seventh inning after he admitted he swore during the dispute. He said staff offered no reason beyond them being Dodgers fans. He missed the final three innings and has asked for a refund, FOX6 Milwaukee reports.

Employer Acts Within 24 Hours
Once the woman was identified online, her employer, ManpowerGroup, placed her on leave and opened an investigation.

“As a result of this process, the employee is no longer with the organization,” the company said, according to FOX 11, adding it strives for “respect, integrity, and accountability.” The nonprofit Make-A-Wish Wisconsin confirmed her immediate resignation from its board, FOX6 Milwaukee reported.
