Meghan Markle Details Moving Moment She Had With Her and Prince Harry’s Daughter Lilibet

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, and her daughter Princess Lilibet had a tender conversation during their first trip abroad following their resignation from royal duties.

Motherhood has a darker side, as Meghan Markle is discovering.

During her and Prince Harry’s three-day tour in Nigeria on May 10, the Duchess of Sussex couldn’t resist sharing a sweet conversation she had with their 2-year-old daughter Princess Lilibet while visiting with pupils at the Lightway Academy.

Meghan said to a kindergarten class, “Our daughter, Lili, she’s much, much tinier than you guys,” according to People. She will turn three soon. And a few of weeks prior, all she would see when she looked at me was my eye’s reflection. She then says, “Mama, I see myself in you.”

Now that she was speaking so literally, the 42-year-old acknowledged. But my interpretation of those words was quite different. “Yes, I do see myself in you, and you see me in you,” I thought to myself.

She spoke to the pupils, “As I look around this room, I see myself in all of you as well,” while seated next to Harry in the classroom.

The pair, who also happen to be the parents of five-year-old Prince Archie, engaged in singing and dance lessons with the children and played games with them throughout their visit. Meghan said, “That’s Lili’s favorite class,” according to the publication. “Perhaps it’s all the hopping around,”

Although Meghan and Harry would rather keep their personal life out of the public eye, they frequently give brief peeks into their family of four.

In February, the Duke of Sussex said on Good Morning America, “The kids are doing great.” The children are maturing like all children do—quite quickly.

The 39-year-old went on, “They both have an amazing sense of humor and make us laugh and keep us grounded every single day like most kids do.” “I’m just really appreciative to be a father.”

Bethany used her inheritance to buy a house, but her husband wanted to be co-owner even though he didn’t contribute any money. When she said no, he asked for past rent payments or hinted at ending their marriage. As a stay-at-home mom, Bethany sought advice, and many people recommended she think about the worth of her unpaid work and get legal help to understand property laws. It’s important to have open communication and seek legal advice to resolve complicated situations like this.

Mom of 4 carried away by hurricane in front of her family

A family in Minneapolis, North Carolina, is facing an unimaginable tragedy, and they need our prayers and thoughts now more than ever.

Melissa Guinn, a devoted mother of four, was tragically swept away by the raging waters of Hurricane Helene, right before the eyes of her husband, Jamie, and their 8-year-old son, River.

It’s truly heartbreaking to witness the toll of the recent storms across the United States. Many lives have been lost, and countless homes have been destroyed due to the one-two punch of two back-to-back destructive storms: Helene and Milton.

On September 27, the Guinn family sought shelter inside their home in Minneapolis, N.C., but Hurricane Helene would shatter their lives in an instant.

The family lived in a house overlooking a river, a location that would prove disastrous when the storm triggered devastating mudslides. As the storm intensified, the house began to collapse, tumbling down the hillside, as reported by Fox News.

Tragically, four-time mother Melissa Guinn was swept away right before the eyes of her husband and their 8-year-old son, River.

“It sounded like a cannon going off. I just remember being crushed by the house falling all around me,” Jamie told WRAL. “And I can remember screaming for my little boy, and I could hear him screaming. Somehow, we dug through the house where it collapsed almost down into the river, and I found him.”

However, Melissa was nowhere to be found. Her last words echoed in the chaos: “Babe, watch out!” she screamed.

    ‘Dad, I think Mommy’s gone’
In a desperate act of bravery, Jamie hurled River onto a riverbank, away from the collapsing house. But when they turned back, Melissa had vanished.

“I rushed right behind my little boy, calling out for my wife because I couldn’t hear her anymore,” Jamie recounted.

“He looked at me and said, ‘Dad, I think Mommy’s gone.’”

According to Jamie, he heard his wife screaming from where their home once stood, but then she vanished. The husband fears that another mudslide dragged her down into the river.

Unfortunately, the ordeal was far from over.

Jamie and River were forced to navigate through debris, rushing water, and mud for several hours to get help. Jamie himself was injured; he suffered a fractured spine and a laceration to his head.

Yet, the physical pain paled in comparison to the heartbreaking realization when he received confirmation of the unimaginable: his beloved wife and the mother of his children had been found dead. Her body was recovered by authorities on October 7— ten days after the tragic accident.

The couple was just weeks away from celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary.

A devoted wife and a loving mother
“I don’t think I still even comprehend,” he said. “Part of me feels like I’m still in a state of shock and understanding everything that happened. I think I’m just making myself realize everything that did happen.”

Melissa was a devoted wife and a loving mother to their four sons: Brandon, Sebastian, Ethan, and River, whom she leaves behind.

“She was my absolute best friend. I really don’t know how I’m going to make it without her. We spent every day together. Everything I’ve done, she was involved in the same way as every other,” Guinn told Fox News.

According to a GoFundMe fundraiser created by one of Jamie’s coworkers, Melissa excelled in every role she played—a great mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend to everyone in her life. She was described as beautiful, strong, passionate, and generous, embodying the qualities of a truly sweet soul.

God bless them! Such a heartbreaking story!

Praying they all find comfort and peace!

Prince William feared Prince Harry was ‘blindsided by lust’ when dating Meghan Markle

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been married for more than six years. Their grand wedding in May 2018 was spectacular, but it didn’t take long before things started crackling. The couple left royal life two years later, and what once was a great relationship with their UK family, including Prince William and Kate Middleton, is gone today.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle married only two years after their first blind date in London. The couple quickly fell in love, and not long after, Meghan Markle decided to move to the UK to be with her boyfriend.

However, Prince Harry’s apparent overflowing love for Meghan was not only positive among his family members. Prince William urged his brother to take it slow—and according to one royal author, it was because he felt something was wrong.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s love story goes back many years. Meghan Markle’s friend set up a date for the couple in 2016.

    Prince Harry & Meghan Markle
In their Netflix series Harry & Meghan, the now Duchess described how she was in London for the Wimbledon tennis tournament in 2016 when she and Harry initially made plans to meet.

They scheduled a dinner, though things could have gotten off to a better start. Harry and Meghan were to meet at the Soho House in London, but the actress was forced to wait on her date for 30 minutes as Harry was running late.

“I couldn’t understand why he would be late,” Meghan said in the series. “But he kept texting. He was like, ‘I’m in traffic. I’m so sorry.’”

“I was panicking, I was freaking out,” Harry added. “I was, like, sweatin’.”

Once Harry walked into the restaurant, though, Meghan quickly realized his being late wasn’t part of any tactic or plan.

“I was a hot, sweaty, red ball of mess,” Harry recalled.

“You were just so sweet,” Meghan added. “You were genuinely so embarrassed and late.”

The first date, which Meghan said was “refreshingly fun,” lasted about an hour. The next day, the couple met again – coincidentally, Meghan was five minutes late.

Prince Harry revealed first big fight with Meghan Markle in his book ‘Spare’
By all accounts, Harry was over the moon when he started dating Meghan.

A friend who appeared in the couple’s documentary explained how happy and excited the prince was. Meghan, meanwhile, described how she and Harry shared a special connection from the beginning. Though their relationship was initially long-distance – a secret to the world – it never stopped them.

“Everything was text and FaceTime, we’d talk for hours. It felt exciting but not in the way people would assume it would be,” Meghan said. “It was just relaxed and easy.”

Harry and Meghan eventually began dating, and everything went smoothly. But just like any couple, they also had fights. In his book Spare, Harry revealed an incident in 2016 that saw him snap at his then-girlfriend.

“Maybe the wine went to my head. Maybe the weeks of battling the press had worn me down. For some reason, when the conversation took an unexpected turn, I became touchy,” Harry wrote.

    “Then angry. Disproportionately, sloppily angry.”

Meghan Markle & Prince Harry in Australia
Harry explained that Meghan took a comment he had made “the wrong way” because of their “cultural difference.” He then spoke to her “harshly” and “cruelly.”

“As the words left my mouth, I could feel everything in the room come to a stop. The gravy stopped bubbling, the molecules of air stopped orbiting. Even Nina Simone seemed to pause.”

“She would never stand for being spoken to like that”
Meghan left the room and disappeared. He recalled her being away for a “full 15 minutes,” before he found her in their bedroom.

“She was calm, but said in a quiet, level tone that she would never stand for being spoken to like that. I nodded. She wanted to know where it came from,” Harry wrote in Spare. He remembered Meghan saying:” ‘Where did you ever hear a man speak like that to a woman? Did you overhear adults speak that way when you were growing up?’ I cleared my throat, looked away [and responded], ‘Yes.’”

Meghan continued by saying she would never “tolerate” a partner or co-parent who yelled at her as he had done.

“She wasn’t going to raise children in an atmosphere of anger or disrespect. She laid it all out, super-clear,” Prince Harry wrote, noting that both he and Meghan “knew” that his anger wasn’t a result of their conversation.

“It came from somewhere deep inside, somewhere that needed to be excavated, and it was obvious that I could use some help with the job,” Harry explained.

“‘I’ve tried therapy,’ I told her. ‘Willy told me to go. Never found the right person.’ [It] didn’t work. ‘No,’ she said softly. ‘Try again.’”

Meghan Markle speaks with Prince William
When Meghan Markle first met Harry, and the two started dating, the former actress was introduced to the Royal Family, including the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince William. In the beginning, Meghan and William formed a great relationship, which was crucial.

Prince William & Meghan Markle – relationship
In what has been called the “Pro-Sussex” biography Finding Freedom, authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand wrote that William and Meghan got “along so well” after their first meeting.”

For her part, Meghan was nervous about meeting William for the first time. She expected her relationship with him to be “trying” from the off. According to the authors, she “thought William would no doubt want to know everything about her and her intentions.

“She was self-aware enough to understand that the brothers were wary of women who were more interested in their titles than their wellbeing,” Scobie and Durand wrote.

“And she couldn’t have come from a more different world than that of William, his wife, and most of their friends.”

A friend of Meghan’s told the authors that she prepared herself for a grilling session with William. But their first meeting turned out great.

According to the authors, William told Meghan: “I was looking forward to meeting the girl who has put that silly grin on my brother’s face.”

Even though William initially appeared to like Meghan, he was also concerned. Harry and Meghan’s relationship moved exceptionally quickly after a friend set them up on a blind date—and according to Finding Freedom author Omid Scobie, the future king had troubles with it.

Prince William during a meeting in London, England.
About a year before their wedding—and about a year after they began dating—Prince William wanted to talk with his older brother about Meghan.

Prince William was concerned Harry was “blindsided by lust,” author claims
William was said to have told his brother, “Don’t feel you need to rush this,” and “Take as much time as you need to get to know this girl.”

Scobie and Durand continued by saying that Harry was “pissed off” that William even asked him to take it slow, while the phrase “the girl” bothered him.

Later, Omid Scobie, who’s been closely connected to the Sussexes for years, said William “just wanted to make sure that Harry wasn’t blindsided by lust.”

William is also reported to have voiced concerns about how quickly his brother’s relationship developed, though this was done privately to his aides.

“William soon began to wonder about some of Meghan’s traits and motivations,” a source told the Daily Mail, as revealed by the Express.

“He was worried that at times she seemed to be more concerned about her personal progression or profile over the wider goals and aims of the Royal Family.”

However, William decided to keep those feelings to himself. Why? Because he “desperately wanted her to be happy and appreciated the huge adjustment of entering the Royal Family,” according to the source.

Prince Harry (left) and Prince William (right)
Finding Freedom led to many speculations about what really had happened within the Royal Family. But sadly, Prince William’s relationship and actions weren’t the only things discussed in the book; Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s relationship was also examined.

Sad reason Meghan Markle & Kate Middleton never got along
Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton had a hard time getting along, and they never became the backbone of the new Royal Family that many thought.

According to Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, Meghan and Kate’s strained relationship was caused by their inability to know each other well enough.

“Meghan would agree with the assessment that the Duchesses were not the best of friends,” they wrote in Finding Freedom. “Their relationship hadn’t progressed much since [Markle] was Harry’s girlfriend.”

Moreover, Durand and Scobie added that Kate didn’t make a significant effort to welcome Markle into the family, at least not in the way people might have expected.

Meghan had hoped that Kate would take her under her wing and guide her through all the new things that someone coming from “outside to the Firm” should know about.

That, the authors claim, never happened.

    Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.
“Meghan was disappointed that she and Kate hadn’t bonded over the position they shared, but she wasn’t losing sleep over it,” Durand and Scobie wrote in Finding Freedom, adding that “Meghan would far rather have had Kate check in on her during the most difficult times with the press.”

Meghan Markle will only sitdown with Royal Family if “two demands” are fullfiled
Today, we all know that the relationship between the Royal Family and the Sussexes is completely destroyed. Rumors about possible peace talks have been many, but time will tell if that will ever happen.

Prince Harry has been rumored to miss his life in the UK, and if peace talks ever take place, it’s most likely that King Charles will be involved, not Prince William and Kate MIddleton.

Although Harry might be open to the idea, Meghan Markle reportedly has two demands that have to be fulfilled before she will even consider a sitdown with the royals.

According to royal expert Tom Quinn, Meghan will only back down when “she feels that the Royal Family have been sufficiently nice to her, and grovelingly apologized for the past.”

Of course, the idea that the royals will meet those demands is doubtful.

“Harry would like a reconciliation, but supports his wife completely and until she feels that the Royal Family have been sufficiently nice to her – and grovelingly apologized for the past – it’s not going to happen,” Quinn told the Mirror.

Meghan’s “sense of grievance” is “preventing anything really meaningful happening”
He added that Meghan may be holding Harry back from any peace talks.

He claimed that the Duchess’s “sense of grievance” is “preventing anything really meaningful happening. ” Meghan and Harry have made it clear that they won’t bring their children to the UK due to a perceived lack of protection, which makes any possible reunion even more complicated.

  • Update on Kate Middleton as first official engagement since surgery is announced

Update on Kate Middleton as first official engagement since surgery is announced

Though there’s plenty of question marks regarding Kate Middleton at the moment, not least what caused the “abdominal procedure” that will see her out of action until after Easter, there’s been an update sure to be of interest to all those out there who think of themselves as royal fans.

According to reports, the Princess of Wales’ first official engagement since her surgery has been announced, and is due to take place on June 8.

Hello! say that on that date Kate will review Trooping the Colour, one week before the main event takes place.

A statement on the official Household Division website reads: “Trooping the Colour reviewed by Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales is identical to Trooping the Colour reviewed by His Majesty The King, with the exception that some additional mounted officers ride when His Majesty The King is present.

“Taking part will be over 1400 soldiers of the Household Division and The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, including 400 musicians from the Massed Bands, all of whom will parade on Horse Guards for the second of two formal Reviews.”

Having a fixed date upon which Kate is scheduled to return to royal action could go some way to allaying the concerns of those who have taken the general lack of information offered since the future Queen’s surgery for a bad omen.

Speculation has been rife in recent weeks as to the possibility that Kate’s condition is in fact worse than the Palace have let on. The Palace themselves were forced to issue a statement doubling down on previous claims that all is as it should be regarding Kate’s recovery, reassuring folk that she was “doing well”.

Even so, the general lack of information available to the public has created a vacuum in which so often conjecture can spread like wildfire.

Hardly helping matters is the fact that the Princess of Wales had not been seen in person or in photo since Christmas. That was until yesterday, when a snap of Kate was taken as she sat in a car with her mother, Carol Middleton, outside of Windsor Castle.

The image marked the first time Kate had been seen in public in 70 days. Cue a fresh frenzy of speculation, in spite of the fact that the Royal Family have tried to reassure royal fans over the past week that the Princess is simply recovering on her own terms, away from the flashing of cameras.

Join us in wishing Kate Middleton well in her recovery. We think it’s great news that she’s on the mend and has a date set for her return to royal duties.

  • Why sports events start with the National Anthem

Why sports events start with the National Anthem

While it’s become second nature to hear “The Star-Spangled Banner” before sporting events, have you ever stopped to ponder why it’s played?

“The Star-Spangled Banner” is more than just a song; it’s an iconic anthem that captures the spirit of a nation, recounting a pivotal battle from the War of 1812. Its presence at sporting events has woven itself into the fabric of American sports culture, yet opinions on its necessity remain varied.

We often take for granted the familiar strains echoing through stadiums and arenas before the excitement of a game. But have you ever paused to wonder why this tradition began?

The answer takes us back to the somber days of World War I, when the anthem became a powerful reminder of national pride and resilience.

    A pivotal moment
The tradition of playing the national anthem at sporting events emerged during a time of great sorrow for the nation. While baseball fans occasionally heard the song performed by military bands in the late 19th century, it wasn’t until March 3, 1931, that Congress officially designated “The Star-Spangled Banner” as the national anthem.

Yet its significance had already begun to take root in the hearts of Americans.

A pivotal moment occurred on September 5, 1918, during Game 1 of the World Series between the Boston Red Sox and the Chicago Cubs.

This game unfolded amid the turmoil of World War I, the same month as the U.S. Army launched one of the largest offensives in American military history, the Meuse-Argonne Campaign. Over 100,000 American men had already lost their lives on the European battlefields.

The atmosphere was heavy, and to add further sorrow, a bomb exploded in Chicago the day before the game, claiming innocent lives and casting a shadow over the festivities.

Rain delayed the match, and just over 19,000 fans gathered at Comiskey Park, a stark contrast to the usual crowds of 32,000. The mood was somber, but everything changed during the seventh-inning stretch when the U.S. Navy band began to play the national anthem.

    A chain reaction
According to the Chicago Tribune, Red Sox infielder Fred Thomas, who was in the Navy and had been granted furlough to play in the World Series, turned toward the American flag and saluted. This gesture sparked a chain reaction among other players, and as the song came to a close, the stadium erupted into thunderous applause, transforming the atmosphere into one of unbridled patriotism.

The New York Times noted that this moment was “the highest point of the day’s enthusiasm,” and from then on, the anthem began to feature prominently in future games. As a tribute to wounded veterans, the Red Sox offered free tickets to those who had served, honoring them during the anthem at the decisive Game 6.

The spirit of patriotism spread across the nation, with more ballparks incorporating the anthem into their rituals. By the time the anthem became official in 1931, the NFL had already mandated its playing at every football game, a practice that soon extended to most major sports.

The evolution of sound systems during World War II played a crucial role in the anthem’s omnipresence, making it “heard everywhere,” as author Marc Ferris explains in his book Star-Spangled Banner: The Unlikely Story of America’s National Anthem. “Before the opera, before the movies, before the theater,” he says, the anthem became synonymous with American pride.

    A heated debate
Whether the anthem belongs at sporting events has been a topic of debate for decades. As early as 1954, some voiced concerns about behavior during the performance, leading Baltimore Orioles general manager Arthur Ehlers to briefly ban it — only to reverse the decision due to public backlash.

In the 1970s, sports radio talk show host Guy Mainella stirred controversy by claiming the anthem celebrated military conquests and was out of place at sporting events. He argued, “It’s a game we’re about to watch, not the Battle of Iwo Jima.”

The conversation intensified in recent years, especially following Colin Kaepernick’s protest against systemic racism and police brutality. Longtime sports writer Peter May posed a thought-provoking question:

“Would any of us feel less patriotic or less supportive of the troops if teams agreed to stop playing the song altogether?” He added, “You only hear it at sporting events… You don’t hear it at the opera, at the theater, at the concert hall… But for reasons unknown, the song has become part of our sporting culture. You cannot attend an NFL, NBA, MLB, or NHL game without hearing it.”

In November 2020, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban made the controversial decision to stop playing the anthem at home games as an act of solidarity with the player-led social justice movement. This decision ignited a firestorm, with Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick calling it “a slap in the face to every American.”

“It is hard to believe this could happen in Texas, but Mark Cuban’s actions of yesterday made it clear that we must specify that in Texas we play the national anthem before all major events,” Patrick stated.

The following year, after intense pressure from Texas politicians, the NBA reinstated the anthem at Mavericks games.

    What do you think?
As we can see, opinions vary widely: some view the melody as a tribute to fallen heroes, while others argue it represents the broader American experience. What do you think? Should we continue this cherished tradition, or is it time to evolve?

Ultimately, the meaning of “The Star-Spangled Banner” varies from person to person, shaped by individual experiences and beliefs. Does the anthem have a place at sporting events?

Preacher denies he’s Elvis Presley, but fans hear his voice and insist he is the King

Since Elvis Presley tragically died in 1977, hardcore fans have been convinced the king of rock and roll staged his death to live outside the spotlight.

Some believed he was hiding from the mafia, appeared as an extra in the 1990 blockbuster Home Alone, toured California’s Legoland, tended to the grounds of Graceland and now living under the guise of a humble preacher in Arkansas.

Despite the doppelganger’s repeated denials, fans insist that Bob Joyce is “getting ready to explain” his faked death “very soon.”

Keep reading to learn what the preacher has to say about claims that he’s Elvis!

On August 16, 1977, the world was ‘All Shook Up” when it was announced that 42-year-old Elvis Aaron Presley died of cardiac arrest.

Since his death almost 50 years ago, a group of skeptics refused to accept the king of rock and roll was dead.

To this day, Elvis-obsessed fans refuse to let go and choose to believe the gyrating gent faked his own death to go into hiding.

And now they are convinced they spotted the “Jailhouse Rock” singer living as Bob Joyce, a 72-year-old preacher in Benton, Arkansas.

    ‘None other than Elvis’
Joyce looks like an older, silver-haired version of Elvis, speaks like Elvis and sings with the same soothing baritone that Elvis was adored.

And when a YouTube video of Joyce singing the gospel song “How Great Thou Art,” a song recorded by Elvis in 1967, conspiracy theorists went wild. “This is truly Elvis. No one else could sing this favorite hymn of mine like Elvis,” writes one fan in the comments section.

A second offers, “His voice will never change. We love you and hope you tell us one day the story of your life. I know who he is and so does everyone else.”

“Not even the imitation Elvis sings like Bob Joyce. Sir, I believe you are him. That rhythm and tone of voice is none other than Elvis,” shares a third believer.

Another writes, “I love you elvis bob Joyce I know but it ok no more big lights you have your piece of mind now you still have my heart (SIC).”

    ‘I’m not Elvis’
Destroying these theories, the gospel singer and preacher at The Household of Faith Church insists he is not the king of rock and roll and instead a messenger of God.

“No, I’m not Elvis. Lots of people ask me that…I got started and I was trying to tell everybody, ‘No, I’m not Elvis,” says the man who points out he’s almost 20 years younger than the “Don’t be Cruel” singer, who would be 89 in 2024. “Most of these folks know I am not Elvis but to them it doesn’t matter. They are only so grateful that God is blessing them and reviewing their lives.

“Perhaps God is using Elvis’ voice to minister to broken hearts and broken lives…If Elvis were alive, I would say to him, my friend and brother, we are of kindred spirits.

Still, many of Joyce’s fans are adamant in saying he hasn’t come out yet and will soon reveal his big secret to the world.

“All his [members of the congregation] knows it’s him as well as the many visitors to his church every Sunday from around the world know it’s him. He’s getting ready to explain it all (why he faked his death & changed his name) very soon,” writes Alabama’s Samantha Drummond Dunn, who plans on traveling to Arkansas to meet Joyce. Encouraging others to watch his YouTube videos, which she says serves as proof, she demands, “It is him!”

Poking fun at her statement, another netizen writes, “If it’s on the Internet it must be true.”

Addressing the several fake accounts on social media– including the one copied by Drummond Dunn in her post – a statement on the Bob Joyce website warns online users against believing what they see on the Internet.

“People have pretended to be Bob Joyce on multiple occasions. He does not send private messages through any online account. The only Facebook account for Pastor Bob Joyce is: facebook.com/bob.joyce.75/ All other Bob Joyce accounts on Facebook or anywhere else online are not him.”

The message adds he is not on Instagram or TikTok.
